October 14, 2011 The Rochester chapter met at the Ramada Lakefront in Geneva to continue with the planning for our 2012 Professional Development conference "Volunteer Spirit..Drink it In". The chapter is very excited to host another excellent conference for the entire Association.

Clyde Taylor, President of Taylor Communications, did a presentation on "How to Excel and Showcase Your Volunteer Program Both Internally & In the Community". As always Clyde gave information packed, cutting edge and thought provoking presentation.He provided a matrix for volunteer administrators to use to better assess the emotions, impact, and financial benefits to volunteers, departments, management and the community .
