Sue
Warwick received NYSADVS'a second annual President's Award at the recent
professional development conference at the Hudson Valley Resort. Sue started as
Director of Volunteer Services at St. Luke's Hospital, Utica in 1975.
She actually helped form the Mid-State Chapter of NYSADVS. During her accomplished career, Sue has survived and thrived with the merger of her hospital and neighboring, Faxton Hospital. She effectively facilitated the blending together two volunteer programs and two auxiliaries. Such success results from Sue's patience, kindness and pride. Sue has mentored and trained numerous professinals.
One of her greatest contributions to NYSADVS was her Benchmarking Project. This project enabled her to travel to different chapters and share the needed information. Sue's greatest memory was successfully going "over the wall at Mohonk." This feat was accomplished at the 10th Anniversary Conference at Mohonk Mountain House.
We congratulate Sue on her extraordinary accomplishments and look forward to her continued impact with NYSADVS.
